The Story:
In 1996, a dark bloodline barter unleashed something ancient and monstrous in a Port Harcourt family home. Thirty years later, young Ada returns to that same abandoned bungalow to escape eviction, unaware that she has brought her daughter right into the lair of Owuri—the ancient, reptilian ruler of the dark creeks.

Owuri is not your typical Nollywood ghost story. It’s a raw, high-tension psychological horror featuring skin-peeling transformations, bone-crunching practical effects, multi-lingual spiritual warfare, and a terrifying twist ending.

Who Are We?
We are cutting out the bloated studio system. I am writing, directing, and handling the special effects makeup myself. We are shooting guerrilla-style on mobile cinematic hardware, bringing together a tight-knit, hyper-talented crew of local creatives right here in Nigeria to pull off practical monster effects that Nollywood rarely sees on an indie scale.

SFX Makeup & Materials (₦150,000): Liquid latex, theatrical blood, prosthetic elements, custom skin-peeling textures, and safe river-mud vomit mixtures.
